I WENT TO SWEDEN

I went on a holiday back home in Sweden and it felt like home. For some of it me Gordon and Ida went for a hike in the southern parts of Dalarna. Gordon discovered that Sweden is sometimes too warm for British people. I was enjoying the the heat because I love being slightly too warm and slightly too sweaty. I wonder every day why I live in Edinburgh. I can't remember if I have ever been sweaty here. Basically I hate being cold and if I am too warm I don't need to worry about when I might get cold.
Mostly I spent my holiday walking in the forest and swimming in various lakes, rivers and seas. More photos to come when I've got all my films processed.

I have completely neglected to tell you all that my comic has been published in a Swedish comics anthology Tago by Kartago publishers. I am so very proud to have my comic Berta in a book that features amazing artists such as Knut Larsson and Nina Hemmingsson. It is unreal. So sorry guys if you do not speak Swedish, this one is only in Swedish. It is an great collections of comics by both famous artists and newcomers in the Swedish comic scene. Maybe you should learn Swedish because there are some great comic artists over there. The anthology only contains a shortened version of Berta so if you want to read it all you need to head over to my  Etsy shop to get yourself a copy of my self published book.

WAITING FOR THE BUS

I have just been to the ECA degree show and I saw some fabulous illustration work. I felt inspired and I made this drawing. I can't believe it has been a whole year since I had my degree show, this year has just disappeared.

I got up ridiculously early this Sunday morning and drew a smug horse. I  am going to make some giclee prints from this to sell in my Etsy shop, keep your eyes peeled!

The reason for getting up so early was so that I could get some pages of my comic done, so I better get to that now.

I am currently working on a comic about a self obsessed blogger. Could have been me when I was 18 if had cared more about fashion and stuff. And if I had known about blogging. It was probably a thing back then but I did not hear about it until much later. 

This project is still in its very early stages so you wont be able to read the comic book for a while but I will keep posting little sneak peaks.
